• Be prepared to buy LOTS of AA batteries. This radio eats batteries like there is no tomorrow. I usually play mine on ac adapter. Other then NOT reverting back to previous station, the sound is good for a small HD/FM radio.

• Four size AA "penlight" cells are under the hatch cover in the back, just left is the 5.5mm socket for the 6Volts DC power block packed in the box (much like comes with any cordless phone).
