I have the same problem. It seems like this converter only works to plug in 1 unit at a time. Except for my hair blow dryer. It only works for 15 seconds when I plugged it in. It only works okay when I charged my laptop.

The manual says that if you use more than 25 watts, up to 2000 watts, at 240 volts, with a total ampage of less than 2.5 amps, it can only be used for 10 minutes at a time, after which it needs to cool off for some period of time. More time at that power usage and it will break. If you use less than 25 watts and less than 2.5 total amps at 240 volts, I see no time restriction. I haven’t tested this out, nevertheless I’m sure the manual is correct.
