No, however if you happen to have a large or particularly heavy TV you should use the wall lanyard and attach it to the back of the stand for safety. Most LED TV in the up to 50" range are less the 60lb, this stand is rated for 135lb. Hardware is included if you choose to not use the TV support and mount to the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the stand sits on the floor. The TV can sit on the top shelf, on the Mount, or wall mounted.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it can be, but it does not have to be mounted to wall
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't. The instructions call for an anchor and tether to attach it to the wall, but I chose not do that just because I've got mine setup in a corner. And yes, my tv is mounted onto the vertical back. It wouldn't hurt to attach to the wall, but I feel very comfortable not having done so. By the way, I've got a three year old daughter, and I wouldn't want to risk the tv falling on her. If you're tv is extraordinarily heavy and you notice that the tv stand is starting to tilt forward because of the weight, then you may want to attach it to the wall. Other wise I'd say you're just fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this does not require your TV to be mounted to a wall.
