Yes, there is at least 9.5 inches of depth available.

I would say yes. The base has a flat top from the post to the front of the base that’s appropriate 8 inches long then it curves downwards. So some of you cable box will be hanging off of the base but there’s enough space to hold the cable box flat.

Not sure. It's about 11 inches but there is a 1-inch slant in the very front of the base. Depending on if it could fit flush without the wires causing it to stick out further it might not fit. It's still a good stand though.

Yes. There is about 10.25” of depth from the center-post to the front edge of the base. Just mount the TV a bit higher on the center post to accommodate the height of the cable box.
