It has adjustable heights, there are 3 or 4 different selectable heights on the main arm up, and then the actual mounting bracket to the tv itself has some adjustability in itself based upon which holes you use to attach it to the tv. I have my 75” about an inch or so off the first shelf and it puts the tv at a very comfortable viewing height for sitting on the couch
