The second shelf has dimensions of approximately 21.7 inches wide, 14.9 inches deep, and 8.7 inches high. Given these dimensions, the second shelf should be able to accommodate a sound bar that is 5 inches deep and 28 inches wide. However, you might need to ensure that the vertical supports do not interfere with the placement of the sound bar.
