“Would this stand hold a 75" tv that weighs less than 110 lbs? Even with a slight overhang on the sides, it would fit perfectly in a corner where it would not be bumped. Would that be the only concern?”

Don't be concerned, it will hold the weight fine. tempered glass is very strong.
