• Its is a very DARK black cherry unless you have it in a very brightly lighted room you would think its black.

• It's so dark you don't need to paint it and it would be disastrous if you did.

• I didn't see it anywhere in black but if you prime it first painting it any color should be fine. Black paint works best with gray primer, but may need a couple coats.

• I didn't see a black color option and I don't think it will blend well if you try to paint over it .

• No, this TV only comes in Espresso. Yes you can paint the product if you wish. Painting it may void the warranty though.
