• This charger will probably work with your laptop. Take it to the BestBuy store and check the plug; also check that the input voltage is within 10% of the laptop's requirement. If you don't have a BestBuy nearby, check the returns policy; if it's generous, take a flier on it; send it back if it doesn't work.
