It should work. If not then make sure u have your receipt to take it back and exchange it. This is the picture of mine that i bought. It has all these different pieces to connect to the charger thats in the box and see if it works for your laptop and its 65 watt charging. Its for laptops, chromebooks and ultrabooks and the length i have is 10ft and its a surge protector. Its universal so it definitely should work for your Asus Notebook PC.
