I would suggest checking a few things. 1) Check to make all the wires are connected properly and that there no breaks/kinks in the line or that the wires are stuck under furniture. 2) Try plugging them into different outlets or using a different power strip with surge protector. Fluctuations in power can cause popping/crackling sounds. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have two sets functioning on the surround channels and the rear channels. No idea why you are hearing popping and crackling. Mine sound great with no undesirable sounds. Make sure you have your polarity correct (black to black, red to red), no wires have inadvertently been crossed or are protruding far enough through terminals on your amp to touch someplace else on the back, and your Ohm setting is correct on your amp for the speakers. These speakers are rated at 8 Ohms.
