Will this work with windows XP, if so how null

Worked for me. Plugged it in and windows found it.

Yes it will, but you will have to download the generic USB drivers from Microsoft.

Insignia recommends: Windows® 10, Windows® 8, Windows® 7, Windows® Vista. BUT, I plugged it into a Compaq Armada laptop with Windows XP and using a Sandisk 32gb microsd card I was able to read form the card just fine, after windows auto installed the drivers for the reader. So technically it will, but Insignia will not support it.

Connect the memory card reader to the computer via usb. The computer will read you memory card automatically. If your memory cards are not being read they are probably not good.
