On any Roku TV the Ethernet port is an input to stream data to as an input. This device supports being an Output. Converting 3.0 USB to an Ethernet input. Plugging it into an input could cause damage, Perhaps. But it surely is not going to work. Sorry......I know as I own a Sharp / Roku 43" TV, Roku Ultra and one of the Platinum 3.0 USB to Ethernet adapters and about 2 years using all of them. I use the Roku Ultra to WiFi to remote TV and still can use 2 Roku's on my Main (living room) TV. I have different channel groups on the 2 different Roku's. More flexibility. Mike R.
