• This is more of an adapter. You put your memory card into it. Then insert the whole thing into an USB on your computer.

• This is a card reader and you can use any size capacity card in the compatible slots. This has no storage without adding a card.

• The Insignia USB 3.0 Memory Card Reader only allows you to access the photos stored on the SD card. It has no memory of its own. It just allows you to connect the card to your computer so you can transfer photos from the card to your computer, or vice versa. If you need something with memory capacity, try an external hard drive, such as WD's EasyStore.

• The actual product will not store any memory, you will need a separate SD or Micro SD card to do so. Any size card will work in this and the 3.0 capability speeds it up greatly as well if you have a 3.0 port in your device/computer.
