• That's an Insignia Microphone for you. Use a third party program to increase the volume of your audio, and add some noise reduction. I'm sorry, but this mic is terrible.

• Go into the Device Manager and turn up the gain there, then try the Windows 10 Sound troubleshooter. If that doesn't work exchange it.

• You might need to go into your computer's settings and check the recording device settings. There is an input level that might be set low, and there's probably a recording boost option you can select.
