• No. It is not useful for interaction with yourself on your system, it's to engage with someone else located somewhere else.

• Technically, your music should still play via 1/4 speaker jack, and you plug this mic to USB. To hear the music & yourself, you need to enable "Listen to this Device" in your USB Mic properties ;-)
