Anything with a standard 1/8" stereo headphone jack will supply the audio signal, which an iPod will do; however, to power the speakers you would need to plus the USB cord either into a powered USB port or into the wall (via an A/C to USB adaptor). Luckily those adaptors are cheap and easy to find.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, works with Mac. There are no drivers to load. It just gets power from the USB port. I have tested with multiple Mac laptops. In order to use it with an iPod, I would expect you will need to plug the USB cord into a powered USB port (whether on a PC or a wall plug) and the headphone jack into the iPod. I have not tried this, but expect it to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does, it uses a headphones input so it can work for literally any device or computer, great speakers!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as your device has a POWERED USB port (and an audio plug of course) they should work. How do you know if it is a powered USB? Plug in your cell phone...if it charges it, then it is a powered USB port. If it does not...it ain;t!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. All "computer speakers", which are powered, have own amplification, and can be used for almost all known sources of audio. The only challenge is when the plug from speakers differ from the source of audio, like an i-pod. Almost all if not all computer speakes have a small plug to fit into a pc/laptop/headphone jack. It's size is 3.5mm. Your i-pod may have an even smaller plug. The solution is to purchase an adaptor, which Best Buy specializes in and their inexpensive as well. Some portable devices have an external USB port to power other sources such as phones or external speakers. If the audio source has not a USB port and the computer speakers only have a USB power source plug, then you'll also need an outlet plug in adaptor that will allow your USB speakers to be powered through a normal plug outlet in a wall.. Good luck and I hope I answered your question. Just so you'll know, when you go into a BEST BUY store, most employees can and will be happy to assist you and help you find what you need. Also, online, at the BEST BUY website, you can chat with an employee in real time and should be able solve all of your concerns regarding any tecnical questions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At least it worked with my iphone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The mini plug would fit, but these speakers require a standard USB port for power. I don't believe Ipods have standard USB ports.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as your device has a USB port and a headphone jack, these speakers will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a headphone jack then they will be provided sound, however I believe that you need to plug in the USB to make it a powered speaker. I would not recommend this for the iProducts as there are blue tooth speakers that work well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mac yes. ipod no. You will need a device that has both a USB port and a microphone jack to connect the speakers. I suppose it would work with an ipod if you had a USB adapter to use with it.
