Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The tv needs to have an Output of some sort. If it doesn't then you need to buy a different tv. Get one with a headphone jack - makes life much easier. These speakers work great!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not possible. You need the usb and the jack or no sound will come out. Besides, I don't think these speakers are powerful enough for a television sound. This is more aimed for laptop/PC users.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes as long as you have an adapter for USB cable that can be hooked up to power outlet. Easy fix. You can also get extensions for both the headphone jack and USB cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most likely, yes. You'll need (2) adapters: a power adaptor that goes from USB to AC outlet. (my unit is also USB but it came with an adaptor for wall plug-in). The next adaptor would be for sound from TV to your external speakers. TV's nowasday's have (2) options for external speaker systems. These options are RCA plugs for A/V receivers and optical connections for direct connection to external speaker system. For you, the option would be to get an optical cable that goes from your TV to your powered external speakers, with different ends. They sell optical cables that have on one end a male optical receptor that goes into TV and on the other end of the cable a 3.5 mm or 1/8 in. male lead that should go into your external powered speakers. You can go the RCA way. Some folks get an RCA to 3.5mm adaptor. However, the volume can't be controlled through TV. And the sound is much different. The optical cables range in price from $10 to hundreds of dollars. The $ 10 ones should work fine. They're made buy reputable brands and have excellent craftsmanship. Good luck and Best Buy should be able to fill in any more details.
