• "Frying" might occur if you use a "high-power" USB device continuously for a long while. For example, external USB HDD, USB scanner. Though it is rare. As long as the devices are within the power rating of this adapter, you should not worry. Well, we do not really know the power rating of it. If you only use it for low-power USB devices, such as USB mouse or keyboard, you do not have to worry about it.
