Go in your home app, go to devices, and make sure you have deleted it from Linked Devices near the bottom. Also make sure your phone is connected to the wifi network you want the speaker to use. I never had success when choosing a network my phone wasn't currently connected to. Then, give it some time. This speaker is especially slow to connect.
