• Yes it will control the Hue lights as long as you have the Hue hub connected and you will need to connect the two in the Google Home app.

• Yes, as long as you have a Hue bridge connected to your lights, and you use the Google home app to set up the connection between this Insignia speaker and the Hue network. I use mine to control Hue lights.
