I too am currently having the same issue. I have Google mini gen 1 (3 of them), and these speaker are updating. However my sounds great, insigna mini is not...it is still on the firmware from factory has not updated once in 4 months. TO DEVICE MANUFACTURE.. the firmware is not updating as it should. This must be fixed BEFORE ANYMORE IS BOUGHT.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue. I have been on the same firmware since I bought the clock a few weeks ago ( version 105). I waited hoping it will automatically update in the middle of the night. It did not. I reset the clock a few times hoping that would work. No luck there either. Any help in this would be great. I really want to use the new features on the updated version. Thanks
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Issue persists for system firmware version 105 or earlier - will not upgrade, Canadian English workaround for alarm functionality appears to only work for a few days. Time for Best Buy to step up, resolve the issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased two clocks last week when they were $25 but had no luck with the firmware and was stuck on the 105 firmware version no matter what I did. So, I took Chuckbuy's advice and went back to exchange my 10fs for 20fs in hopes the firmware would be updated or at least have the capacity to update overnight. The shelf was full of 10fs and one 25f. Went to the counter to exchange at least one of my 10fs but was told the 25f had a new UPC, and could therefore not be considered for an even exchange. The price for the same exact model but with a different UPC....$99. What a disappointment. I can only assume they are trying to offload the older firmware version that seems not to work. Was so frustrated I just returned the two I had and left.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can't update previous versions of the insignia google speaker. When purchasing, on the package you want the last 3 characters to be as recent as possible (not the serial number but the sticker on the side of the package. If the UPC is on the bottom that's an automatic fail, should be on the side as the most recent models are) . I had three versions: 08F,10F,and 20F...only the 20F updated.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Gonzalo, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our Smart Speaker. Regarding your question, I want to explain that updates happen automatically every day (around 4am), just make sure your device is powered, and is not actively streaming music. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will do this automatically. Alternatively, you can: Open the Google Home app Google Home app. In the top right corner of app's Home screen, tap Devices Devices. Scroll to find the device card for the Google Home you'd like to find the firmware version for. In the top right corner of the device card, tap the device card menu More menuand thenSettings. If there is an update available, I believe it will show it there.
