“Hoping to hear from support. Media alarm always goes off at vol 40 regardless of device volume setting and regardless of setting in Home app. Factory reset no help. Returned the first one, happens on new one, too. Phone support was able to recreate.”

Thanks to the two people who answered. I am aware of the setting in the Home app for Alarms and Timers. I have that slider all the way down - should basically be on 0! - and the alarm still goes off at 40. Are you saying this setting works for you *for a *media/music* alarm? And as far as adjusting it while music is playing, that means the alarm is blasting at 40 when I want it at 12 - every morning! And that's a big difference! Would really like to hear back from support.

Normally one will label it something within the app. Like mine, I have it in the Bedroom, so I have it labeled "Bedroom Speaker". Once you find the speaker in the Google Home app, click on the speaker icon, then click on the settings icon up in the upper right corner. Once there, click on "Alarms & Timers". Everything you're looking for is right there. ENJOY
