I am having the exact same issue. Bought two of these speakers over the weekend and it's frustrating. I've found a user online with this same issue on another brand speaker (JBL). They circumvented the issue by changing the language setting in the Google Home app to English (Canadian). I will confirm this works, however, it will not let you set a music or radio alarm this way. In addition, your weather will be broadcast in Celcius, but you can fix that by saying "Hey Google, change units to Farenhiet." I would like to hear an answer from Insignia, though, as to why we're getting the "something went wrong" error when trying to set an alarm. That's kind of the whole point to this product.

I changed the language on the Assistant to English (Canadian) and set an alarm and I no longer receive the error message. I also changed the temp to Fahrenheit using a voice command and it also worked. Thanks so much for the advice! Now I have an alarm clock.

I also tried to reset and configure back again, still no luck...Insignia Team please do something... How to upgrade the firmware... When I reset it shows me Set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine did the same thing. The solution was to just leave it plugged in for 12 hours. Not sure why, but it works perfectly now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine was having the same issue, I tried some of the suggestions here which didn't work for me. I ended up returning mine for a new one only to have the same issue. I called insignia help and they explained it was a google issue. Keep in mind I called twice, the first person was the one that instructed me to return. This wasn't actually necessary. The second person walked me thru a series of steps to get information for my specific device ie IP address etc. and put in a service ticket with google (this is what I was told). The issue was corrected in 48 hours and has not returned as of yet.
