Hi, Thank you very much for purchasing our Insignia Voice Smart Speaker. In regards of your concerns I would like to explain that the speaker connects to a network protocol server so We do not control time settings to be adjust up or down dynamically (i.e. 10 minutes ahead of current time) but instead this is set by Google. In order fot his to be possible Google would need to expose this at configuration. Keep enjoying your speaker! Arely R. - Insignia Support.
