Yes it does work with that bulb, that's what I have hooked up to my Google devices now. You have to be sure both products (the insignia clock and the C life bulb) are connected to the Google Home app first. You can't connect them any other way. Make sure you have both devices registered and connected to the SAME internet as well. Some people have 2 lines of internet, a 2.5 and a 5.0 variant, I'm not certain if the c life bulb is compatible with the 2.5 so make sure your Google Home app and tech are all connected to the 5.0 line. My brother had his products registered on different lines and that was his problem!
