“I set alarm volume in Home app, but that seems to not affect music alarms. Music/media alarm waking me up at 60%, even though I have volume slider in app (and why is it a slider, not a spinner?) about 20%. Is there a way to set music alarm volume?”

I have the same issue though my "default" is 40% not 60% thankfully. Setting the Home app has not worked for me. Nor has using the last volume it was set at as another person suggested. This happens on both the small and large speakers I have. Hope this gets fixed.

I also noticed this. According to Google documentation the Media alarm(s) will play at whatever volume you had it last set to. You should be able to change the Alarm volume itself within the Google Home Apps "Alarms & Timers" setting. There also is no way to change the alarm tone for general alarms so good luck waking up to the relaxing therapist music that plays as the default alarm tone on this device. https://support.google.com/googlehome/answer/7071598
