“I can't pair this with my 65 inch Samsung TV. It finds the speaker, but when I try to pair it it says either move it closer or it's not on. I literally have moved the speaker within inches of the TV to no avail. I was able to pair with my phone”

try resetting your device, I wasn't able to connect at first so I did a factory reset and tried again through the TV settings and it worked perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I assume you're trying to pair via Bluetooth. Bluetooth devices can be one of two types: both transmit & receive OR receive only. Phones can do both (e.g. Receive from a headset, or transmit to a stereo or speaker). However TVs, Chromecast, and home devices are typically receivers only. This means they cannot pair with each other. You can see them, but not pair since they are both receivers only. I think you're trying to get the TV sound out to this speaker, but there's no way to do that. Some portable powered speakers have a 3.5mm input jack, but the Insignia does not.
