QuestionI've factory reset my insignia clock and I can go longer get past setup. After connecting the clock to wifi it tells me "problems connecting to cloud" when trying to link accounts. Neither me or my gf can link accounts. Im not having this issue w/ my mini

- Answer Open Google home app, open the menu, tap more settings, scroll down to devices, find the old device (what it was before factory reset) and tap it. Then go all the way to the bottom where it says "unlink device" and hit the "x" there Then try setup again

QuestionOur speaker worked perfectly until two weeks ago. Suddenly when you ask, Hey Google PLAY classical music, it responds OK, here‘s a playlist...we wait. Nothing plays. When we wake up and say,Hey Google TELL ME about the day, it responds OK, nothing???

- Answer You have to program it in google home on your phone or tablet. Go to settings, account, assistant, then routines. This should work.

- Answer Plug a cable in and see I use mine to charge headphones, my bike light, walkie talkies or phone. It's a very slow charge though if you're using a phone from 2016 or newer.

QuestionI purchased this unit, but lost the power adapter. Best Buy told me they couldn't help and to contact Insignia. It's been over a week and I never heard back. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement power adapter?

- Answer Your best bet is goodwill. It has an output of 2.5 amp. Model number E030-1A1202HU If you go to goodwill if it fits and is close to amp output i tried a 2.0 it worked

QuestionI just bought this today. I have gone through this set up 5 times and my husband 4 now. The clock just continues to say set even after my google home app has said its good to start. When I say something to it says I have to install the app. HELP PLEASE

QuestionPaired it to my desktop. But I can only hear "beep"when I adjust volume on my PC. It doesn't stream music or anything else from my PC. I'm sure I set the playback device correctly to it. I have tried it on both CPU platform and different BT adapter. SOS

QuestionDoes alarm go off if the internet is down or it is offline? Can you set the alarm manually if the internet is down? In other words will this work as an alarm clock if the internet went off in the night?

- Answer Mine doesn't. If it loses wifi, it just says "nET" on the display and it won't ever reconnect by itself. I have to unplug it. It's not really an alarm clock. It's a clock (when it wants to work), that can play alarm sounds (if you're lucky).

QuestionI am hearing impaired and a heavy sleeper. Does this have volume control? How loud will it get? Different sounds or tones? I hear some tones better than others. I am not technicalogically savvy. Need user friendly. Cell phone does not wake me.

QuestionSo I read the manual and it said there would be an orange LED light to indicate battery percentage (full/low battery/charging) , however the only light on the back of the device is the small mic light. Where exactly is the battery LED light located?

- Answer One manual for all their products. Unplug your device - does it stay on? If not, then you don't have a battery and therefor no indicator light

- Answer I regret buying this to be honest instead of the competition. From what I can tell it's been months since any update has came out. I'm afraid Insignia and Best Buy have abandoned any future development for this it seems.

- Answer Do the "OK Google" setup on your phone through the assistant there. Don't try and do it through speaker setup. This speaker is garbage Once it's been done on your phone it will be saved and you can just have that voice profile used for the speaker without having to say it again

QuestionMy clock will sometimes talk on its own. Like today it just randomly told me three restaurants near me, even though one was no where near me. Nothing said anything Google related. It says random words sometimes too. What could be causing it?

- Answer Your TV or radio? Thin walls? A family member using your account on a separate device in another part of the house (sometimes I type a question into my phone and the speaker answers) I turn my mic off unless in sure I'm going to need Google.
