Try pressing the round circle (play/pause button) to see if this stops the blinking.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you ever find a solution to this? Mine does this as well and it seems to be related to either an error or bug. I say this since my model doesn't have a battery. In my experience, it usually happens when an alarm is set, although it has only happened about 5 or 6 times in the last few years. However, it causes the sound of the alarm not to go off, resulting in my missing my scheduled wakeup (which is now why I set my phone to go off a minute later every day as well now since I can't seem to trust anything to wake me up 100% of the time these days). Don't think the job allows for the excuse of "my smart speaker has a bug". At first I thought it had something to do with the chance that maybe it lost internet at some point during the evening, but if I manually dropped the modem and brought it back, the display would read as dashes and then come right back once internet returns to the network. So maybe when the alarm went off, a bug occurred and resulted in a flashing time to show there was an error. As of right now though sadly, I have no answer or conclusion, but at least have my thoughts and trial and error to share.
