“bought for black friday, everything else is great but it won’t let me set an alarm? the command is understood and it even tells me that my alarm has been set. however immediately after, it says to try again later. i’ve reset the thing 10+ times. help!”

I know this may be weird, but have you tried setting the alarm to 1 minute before or after the time you want? For some really random and odd reason, if I try to set my alarm to 7:00, 7am, etc, I have issues, HOWEVER, if I set the alarm to 7:01, or 7:01am no problem. This is a problem I had with a Google Home Mini as well, btw.
