You can’t tell how good it is filtering. It’s the amount of carbon on the inside. Saw them in half and compare. It’s the only way to tell any difference.

I have installed one and I am very impressed with it , much better the the brand name MWF. Great water flow right away. Follow directions carefully to the tee and great results. Oh by the way, $20.00 dollars cheaper!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, this filter has a much lower rating. It is a 42 standard, the lowest. It doesn't filter out anything that is health related. It does fit the same. If your water is clean, like it should be, this lower rating won't matter much if at all. Otherwise, get the actual GE filter. These filters are generally made in China.
