My phone has an option under it's Sound & Notifications settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because you are connected to your Bluetooth. Your phone will ring when you remove off the Bluetooth connection (example) when you place your phone on speaker you can be hand free but if you decide that you don't want someone to hear your conversation you remove the phone off speaker and place to your ear to hear the person on your phone speaking.
