“Does both sides retract at the same time or can one stay out and the other retract? Also what is the range on them, I'm looking to wear them playing basketball. It's not a full size court but a decent size one. Thanks”

Range is 33ft and you can have one side out and the other in. They have their own retractable buttons.

Both sides work independently. Range is about 35 feet.

Yes they can, however they tend to bounce up and down a lot when worn while running.

Each side retracts separately....do not know how effective the range is...not tested that aspect.
