You can use them with your TV only if you purchase a Bluetooth transmitter, which you can find at Best Buy also. I also use my headphones with other Bluetooth devices such as my iPad and phone.

Honestly, I do not know if you can connect to your tv with the headphones if you do not have bluetooth compatibility. Usually, for example, if say tablet is bluetooth compatible as well as the headphones you can connect each other.
