it means the food is sarting to burn . When there is no enough water or the food is overcooked , the food starts to stick to the vessel bottom and it indicates food burn .

The Instant Pot will automatically reduce the temperature to avoid overheating. Starch deposits at the bottom of the inner pot may have blocked heat dissipation. Turn the cooker off, release pressure according to the recipe, and inspect the bottom of the inner pot.
