Hi Kenny. Thank you for your question! The Instant Pot - Solo Single-Serve Coffee Maker is compatible with K-Cup pods, and the included reusable pod, for use with your own coffee grounds. A K-Cup or the reusable pod must always be used when making coffee. Enjoy!

Please try again later.I find this this solo K-cup coffee maker is ideal if you want to try coffee freshly ground into the reusable cup. however, is compatible with any K cup available in the supermarket and is NOT possible to make coffee without a reusable k-pod is not intended to be used that way. The brew is Stronger than other k cup coffee makers and we use any kind of creamer liquid or powder.
