• Hello Bill. For best results in the Vortex Plus air fryer oven, we do not recommend using a wet batter.

• I wouldn't. The batter will drip and fall off the chicken, and most of it will end up coating the basket and the bottom of the oven rather than the food. Just cook like you normally would in an oven: one side at a certain temperature for a set time, turn the pieces, repeat.
