Yes! I have cooked on the two trays with different foods with no issues at the same time. I also love the rotating basket, makes the perfect french fries.

Please try again later.I am not familiar with the PowerXL, of which there are probably several different models anyway, but I know that there are air fryers which have two separate and distinct sections, as well as controls, to cook at different temperatures and for different times in the two areas. This one doesn't allow for as much control. What you can do is use both trays at the same time, and the one on top will cook faster and at a higher temperature than the one below, so the food on that tray can be ready sooner or cook more thoroughly. When it is ready, you can then cook the lower section to your requirements.
