Does it get hot on the outside? null

It gets warm on the sides and top but not hot. However, when you open the door you need to be careful not to burn yourself on the metal that runs around the edge of the inside where the door meets the unit. Also, make sure you pull it away from the wall and give it plenty of room for all the hot air to come out the back.

No it doesn't. There is a small vent in the back that hot air comes out but that's it. I love it and have cooked chicken and fish in it. Wished I bought it sooner.

It does a little, very minimal.
