its just the processor you will need everything else!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's a broad question and depends on what you are doing. If you're building a new system from scratch then you'll need a motherboard that is compatible (Must support same generation as processor which you don't mention 7xxx, 8xxx, 9xxx?) memory (speed/type dependent on processor gen and motherboard), hard disk or SSD, video card if not integrated on motherboard, case of course with power supply and then keyboard and mouse. Sorry for all the useless details that you may already be aware of but all this goes out the door if you're purchasing a retail system from Lenovo, Dell, HP or other manufacturer. The usually provide keyboard & mouse with their systems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a PSU, RAM, the CPU, a keyboard, and monitor to be able to boot and use your computer. If the processor doesn't have onboard graphics (easily found out via google searching) then you'll also need a GPU to have anything show on your monitor
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what you have. If u have an intel 370/390 motherboard you would not need anything else.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nikki, I am a little confused by your question. If you just need a PC monitor and mouse at this point, I would just recommend a keyboard as well. The keyboard will allow you to interact with the motherboard's BIOS and change settings depending on your setup. Once you have that worked out, you can install your OS (Windows was my choice), from there you can add or remove peripherals (or other accessories) at your convenience. If I am mistaken and you need everything besides the processor you'll need the following: A compatible motherboard, RAM DIMM(s), hard disk storage (SSD/HDD/SSHD/M.2), CPU cooler, power supply, case, keyboard, mouse, display (monitor in this case). TL;DR You'll likely just need a keyboard.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If CPU has a 'k' at the end, its an unlockable chip which can be overclocked. And because of that, it comes without a cooling solution and is left to the consumer to find alternative means to do so. No real issue tho. Any aftermarket cooler you buy will outperform the cooler Intel would supply with the CPU...IF it came with one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A cpu cooler
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you are confusing a CPU with a desktop. You need a desktop.
