• No, the 8700 is an Intel 8th gen, as opposed to the seventh generation support offered by the board. You will want to look at earlier generation processors to match the board, or if you are dead-set on the 8700 you will need to look for a motherboard with the LGA 1151(300) slot. Most any motherboard will have listed on the box or in the product description which processor generations will work.
