I personally went 4090 oc to have the best system possible. But a 4080 can pull its weight as well. I dont think you would have any issues with bottle necks going 4080

When pairing a GPU with the Intel® Core™ i9-14900K processor, you have several options based on your performance and budget preferences. Here are some considerations: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 3090: The RTX 4090 and RTX 3090 are powerful GPUs, but they might be overkill for most users and can be expensive. While they offer excellent performance, a more budget-friendly option may provide better value. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super: The RTX 4080 Super is a hypothetical model as of the latest information. If available, it could offer a good balance between performance and cost. Avoiding Bottlenecks: To avoid bottlenecks, ensure the GPU is powerful enough to complement the i9-14900K without being excessively high-end. Consider factors like your monitor's resolution and refresh rate to match the GPU's capabilities. In conclusion, the choice depends on your specific needs and budget. Consider mid-range options like the RTX 4080 Super for a balance between performance and cost. https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/236773/intel-core-i9-processor-14900k-36m-cache-up-to-6-00-ghz.html Thank you for using Intel.(Rafael_Intel)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm running i9 14th gen with a 4070 ti and there's no bottle neck on my end. I think that the 4090 overkill. But in the end it comes down to what resolution you want to run the game at and the settings. I would definitely save the money and get the 4080 super. I hope I was able to help you out on you're decision.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 4070 a it works amazing i have 39C on helldivers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would consider how much power draw having both the i9-14900K and the 4090 would have and how good of a power supply you currently have on hand. The 4090 is stupid overkill. I would maybe think about the 7900XTX.
