“Can this be used to replace a bestway sand filter which is 1500 gph ? My pool is a 22x 12 oval bestway pool from Costco . The filter that came with the pool just doesn’t seam strong enough when I want to vacuum it or keep it clean enough.”

U can use what u want but its going to run 4 ever spend the money get 4500gph which is what u should have used. Cut electric bill 90%. All pools come with small pumps . Thats a sand filter. Get a saltwater and no chemicals except a floating chol. Tab. My chem bill use to be 300 a month plus filter carts. And elec. Spent 500 and now costs me around 20 a month to maintain.
