A:Answer Hard to answer without knowing what type of filter system you currently have. These types of pools although come in various sizes, sometimes have sand filters and sometimes a cartridge type. Regardless I would expect to need a fitting or a coupler maybe because it's not just a universal kit. All the parts I needed additional which was one piece, I found very inexpensively on an online retailer that has everything from A to Z.
Also, would not ever buy one from bb, or anything anymore from them. Unit is great but their customer service is a joke. They have had 350 dollars of my money in a defective unit and the "replacement", hasn't shipped. They want me to ship back the defective unit with 110 pounds of hazerdous material sand in it via UPS or I have to wait for replacement unit, which I have been, for over 3 weeks.
