  • QuestionWhat kind of pump to buy for pool and where to get it from?

    • Answer I bought the "Bestway - Pool Filter Pump Cartridge Type-III (2 Pack) + Pool Filter Pump System" from Best Buy and it works great! Just an added tip, if you get this pump, use the acessories that come with it, not the ones that come with the pool. They fit better.

  • QuestionDoes this pool have hookups for a pump and filtration system? If so what are the hole dimensions?

    • Answer The pool came with two tubes for the inlet side of the pool but I don’t believe the outlet side had one. Usually when you purchase a pump they give you the tubing. The current inlets are 1.25 diameter. I would suggest getting the 1.25 to 1.5 adapters (if needed) off Amazon and a larger pump (mine is a 2500 GPH).

    • Answer The Intex Rectangular Frame Pool, Item 28273EP, has a water capacity of approximately 1885 gallons and has two 1.25" hose fittings. Intex filter pumps 28601EG, 28603EG and 28637EG meet the minimum gallon requirements and are compatible with the pools 1.25" hose fittings.
