Did the same thing due to Best Buy’s description. They would not correct problem or give a refund so since I put this on my Best Buy card I am just disputing bill

I called and became suspicious when the tech wanted to have access to my system - I asked if I could do what he wanted to do and just report back what the result was. He got rude and said that he doubted I would understand the technical aspects and kept insisting to allow him to remote in - all to fishy for me so I hung up. I tried the install in Edge and this time I got a totally different screen that allowed me to login and get the download - the entry of the code worked and I am now doing my taxes. Use MS Edge internet browser - I believe it will work for you.
