No, this switch will not work because it only has 1 HDMI input. The keyboard and mouse (and 1 monitor) should work fine, though.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This switch should work fine. Just don't use the monitor connections, and leave each laptop directly connected to each monitor. When you switch, you will still see both screens active, only the mouse/keyboard will work on one. However, a better solution may be software. There is a program called Synergy which allows you to control BOTH computers at the SAME TIME. You literally move your mouse pointer between the computers. I've used it across PC/Macs, but I believe it supports Linux as well. It even allows you to copy/paste text between computers. https://symless.com/synergy
