First, thank you for choosing IOGEAR. The GBU521 will give Bluetooth to a computer that does not already have internal Bluetooth. Once installed and connected to your computer it will connect to most Bluetooth devices. if your computer has updated OS and hardware, then the USB adapter SHOULD work OK on your computer I don't know the exact requirement specs for this device I am sure the Best Buy "Geek Squad" should be able to help there
