• A:Answer I used the IOGEAR - Bluetooth 4.0 USB Micro Adapter. If you're using WinXP, Vista, or WIn8, you might need the IOGear drivers (newest versions come with the adapter, so no downloads). Win10 PnP recognizes it right away with no drivers to install.

• A:Answer IOGEAR says: It depends on the capabilities of your TV. This is not a feature we have seen or tested. If you have a newer smart TV you can connect a win 10 computer without any device if it is an OEM copy with the Connect to a display feature. • A:Answer No, it is intended to be used with a smart device (laptop or pc) on which drivers must be installed for the hardware to recognize it and make it work. Your DVD player can't do that. I am using it because I have an older laptop with Windows XP and no bluetooth. Pretty much all smart televisions and Blu-ray players as well as some DVD players have some internet connection. If you have a recent enough player, it supports the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) protocols. If your player supports DLNA, you can run an application on your phone that will allow your player (DVD, BD, Roku, smart TV, etc) to stream video over your wireless network.

• A:Answer The GBU521 is designed to be used with a Computer that does not have Bluetooth and has a Windows operating system. In Theory if this is a Bluetooth to Bluetooth connection on your Roku it should work , however this has not been tested by IOGEAR. Again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.

• A:Answer Yes you can. However you should download the newest drivers for the Bluetooth device. SetupBtwDownloadSE2 updated drivers for windows 7 professional. From Broadcom Corporation website.You should install them before installing the CD that came with the SUB adapter. It will save you from deleting the application out and putting the new drivers Like all things for Windows 7 there's little tweaking to do! IOGEAR I've had really good luck with it. For the price it is a real good product. I have not worked with Sony applications. So you might have to download some additional drivers from them? I hope this helpful. TP-BLU.

Is a basis made drivers to work with older Windows platforms like XP, Vista and Windows 7. Some of the newer Bluetooth adapters have built-in drivers.
